• <H4> I have never and will never support the federal government dictating terms for our schools in Utah and do not believe there should be a federal Department of Education. If they must be involved they should block grant OUR money back to Utah to let us decide how best to use it.

• <H4> One of my goals is to increase transparency with parents and community members. I served as an appointee of the governor on the State Transparency Board, this is an important issue to me.
